Every Christmas Eve, children from around the world wait eagerly in expectation of a mythical gift-giver’s annual advent, and he can only come once the children are sleeping. But Christ’s second advent will be different in every way. His return is no myth, and we will not know the day or the hour it will be. And furthermore, we will not want to be asleep in the Lord’s service when He returns!
