As Jesus concludes His Olivet Discourse, plans to betray and crucify Him are gaining traction. Of course, even plans to crucify Christ don’t contradict God’s plan, as a flashback to just a few days earlier shows that God was preparing His Son for burial even before He entered Jerusalem.
